Modern Moms - Why Are Blogs For Moms Everywhere?

By Karina B Lawrence

Moms nowadays are juggling between their careers, family management and desire to make friends and socialize. The old fashion concept of the neighborhood-like parenting community where woman were interacting with each on the in the farmers markets, doing laundry or at the playground just doesn't exist anymore.

So called 'progress' has built barriers, making it difficult for people to meet. Now the modern woman is ordering food delivered for the family dinner, dropping off the laundry in the dry cleaners and hiring nannies to look after her children. These services make moms' lives more convenient, but also build the wall of segregation around them. Women today face a big challenge to break though this isolation.

More women than men report a history of attempted suicide, with a gender ratio of 2:1. The higher rate of attempted suicide in women is attributed to the elevated rate of mood disorders among females, such as major depression. Women, regardless of nationality or socioeconomic level, have significantly higher rates of depression than men. The number one cause of depression is social and economic factors.

Their work, isolation at home, stress in the marriage and children play big roles in a woman's depression. Many women feel that they must be everything to everyone and at the same time feel as if they are no one at all. Such a self-image is common and should be strongly considered as a major contributor to depression in many women. The mothers who work feel that they cannot keep up with everyday life. The mothers who stay home with children feel socially isolated. This is why many women are seeking for the new ways to socialize. Busy mothers join the Mom Blog Network, where they can start their own moms' blog or join mom support groups online. There they can find the support of other moms, tips on parenting and sources of valuable info for moms. Mom online community is playing a big role in modern mom's life. Look how many parents' blogs, single moms blogs, working moms blogs, and so on are on the Internet. They chat with each other, find answers for important issues, and make long-term friends. It is so convenient! On the Internet you do not have to make a date with your friend in advance. You can communicate any time, day or night, whatever is more convenient for your schedule. I personally like to watch news on my computer while I am on the Internet. It is like a shampoo & conditioner - "Two in One". I love it!

The research shows that more mothers are online than fathers and most of the parenting websites are visited by moms. In fact they constitute over 85% of all visits to parenting websites. I predict that more and more services will be available for moms on the internet. It is a growing market. Moms like me will find new ways to communicate, find services and information online. It is the community of the future!

Karina Lawrence is a full-time mom and an active participant in various moms' blogs and other online mom communities. She loves discussing on daily tit bits of her parenting experience and likes to share her ideas with other moms.

Thinking About Blogging?

5 Questions You Should Ask Yourself

Blogging is a great hobby to get involved with. However, bloggers usually spend a lot of time and money getting their blogs off the ground (if you advertise). It can take a lot of patience, especially in the beginning. But with a lot of dedication, and more importantly, patience, you can make a go of it.

So before you jump into the blogosphere, ask yourself these 5 questions:

1. Do You A Passion To Succeed?

Starting and maintaining a blog takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and passion. It is important to enjoy what you do, especially when blogging about it. This will ensure that you never run out of patience and give up before the blog becomes successful.

2. Are You A Good Writer?

It is true blogging is a completely different type of writing. Many bloggers have little to no background in writing but are still successful.

However, having some decent writing skills can go a long way in separating you from the crowd. Being able to communicate with your readers clearly will make your readers come back more often.

3. Do You Like Learning?

Blogging, like technology in general, is a field of never ending learning . Everyday, new platforms and products come out that are different than the current ones. It can be really difficult to stay on top of all the new products and software. If you enjoy learning, than it can actually be fun.

4. Do You Have Time?

Many blogs and books with lead you to believe that you can create a money making blog in a really short time. This is not true in all cases. Yes, it is possible for some, depending on the niche and writing skills. But it usually takes a lot longer to generate some traffic and receive an income from advertisements and affiliates.

Writing is just a small part of running a blog. You must also do the marketing, SEO, and design of the blog in order to be successful. So time is a very important factor in becoming successful at blogging.

5. Do You Need An Income Right Away?

Many bloggers start out in there journeys to make an income online. Blogging is a great way to do this but it will not happen overnight. If you are trying to get rich quick, then blogging may not be the platform for you.

With a lot of work and patience, blogging is a great way to build an income online. For some people, it actually replaces their full-time income.

So the question is, are you ready to be a blogger?

3 Reasons Why Blogging is an Incredibly Profitable Investment of Your Time

By Jamie Holt

It wasn't too long ago that a blog was only the work of a college or university student to complain about life, parents and how the whole world is against them. The blogging world is no longer like this, and there are many companies using the power of a blog to enhance their business, gain more customers and connect with their current customer base to keep them updated on the day to day changes and issues within their respective industries. So how and why can you benefit from having a blog in your business? Allow me to show you in these 3 reasons:

1. Trust is built through open sharing In the online world there is a trust issue, mainly because there is no face to face contact with the consumer so they don't get a chance to evaluate your character. Sharing your personality, thoughts and feelings in your business blog allows the potential client to get to know you a little bit more and over time trust is built as they begin to see your sharing of information and also they will see your dedication.

2. Search engines love blogs Due to their constant fresh content and updating daily, you will find your blog achieving some really good search engine rankings and not just like that of a normal website. You will start ranking for a wide variety of keywords and search terms, which opens up the door to new customers that you may never have found without the search engine capability of a blog.

3. You can use a blog for leverage You can leverage the power of a blog as a membership section, or delay posts to come out for one time offers or special sales. Using your blog for each of these purposes lets your customers think that being subscribed to the blog is important and you can offer special deals to those customers who stay connected via the blog. A perfect way to leverage the power of a blog is current market research, there is no better way to research your target market than asking your current customers what they want. These are just three reasons why blogging is a must for any business, I am sure there are many more that I have not included.

The Benefits of Niche Blog Marketing

By Gunnar Berglund

If you are involved in making money online, then niche blog marketing is something you should seriously consider incorporating into your business plan. Basically, you start a blog (or several blogs) and use it as an advertising platform for a specific niche, just as you would with a regular website.

The advantage of it being a blog is that first of all, blogs are 100% FREE to get. You receive your own domain name (web address) and everything. You can literally set up your blog and be up and running, promoting products and MAKING MONEY within under an hour.

Niche blog marketing is all about finding a profitable niche market. Weight loss is great, but there is lots of competition...just make sure you have a good product to promote. Whether you have your own product and/or service OR you promote one as an affiliate, blogging is an excellent (one of the best) way to market any niche online.

People write product reviews, articles, press releases and regular 'blog' type content on their blogs and put a link to the product they are promoting at the end of the review. This is a time tested, proven system that works wonders for many bloggers worldwide. Some people earn $70,000+ a month just from one blog!

Using your niche blog to market products is just ONE way to monetize your blog. There is also a great load of money to be made from AdSense revenue. You can place ads very easily on your blog that you earn money for anytime someone just as much CLICKS on one of the ads! Most of the time this is done with Google or Yahoo ads.

It is very easy and FREE to sign up for ads to be placed on your blog and you don't have to be super special or have a really popular blog to do it either. You can literally create a blog right now and be displaying Google ads and making money within a few hours!

I wish you all the best of luck with your niche blog marketing efforts!

What Makes Your Blog Interesting to Read

By Gareth Boyd

The major problem people make whenever they start a new blog is they think of all the success they could make, but they forget the major thing and that is actually doing it. In order for you blog to be a success you need to have daily posts, interesting and useful at the same time. This is quite a hard task to maintain each day for your blog to make any success on the internet.

Unfortunately as it is, there are over millions of blogs on the internet about different niches and you have to make your blog stand out. There are blogs that copy content which I hate and my readers of my blog should know by now that you shouldn't copy content and try to make unique content rather than resulting to copying others posts.

1. Unique content updated everyday

2. Allow comments for readers

3. Linking with other related bloggers

Unique content updated every

Everyday you want to update your blog and make sure it is uniuqe content as well. Some people have the excuse awk well I don't know what to post, but I will make a post tomorrow because I will think of something to say. No, think a day before what you are going to post about and write up a draft about what your going to write all about. Include photos/images in your posts to make your post look more attractive.

Allow comments for readers

I hate going to some blogs that you can't comment, its good to let the readers of your post to share their own opinion on what you have written. Sometimes you can receive some constructive critism which will help you next time you go to post on your blog.

Linking with other related bloggers

Personally I think that people should have a small network with other related bloggers, so they can comment on each others blogs and help each. I have a couple of links to related bloggers and we always comment and help out each other with our blogs.

Hopefully this has gave you some ideas on how to keep your visitors happy whenever visiting your blog and I enjoy reading your comments.

Generating Money Off New Blogs Isn't Hard

By Gareth Boyd

Everybody makes it out as if its hard which it really isn't. Like I stated in the title of this blog post.. "Generating cash on new blogs is hard, or is it?". I have listed to the right three sites (Bidvertiser, Chitika and Smorty) for you guys, unfortunately Blog Spot are tightening up and don't allow either Bidvertiser or Chitika.

Alternatives are very low from Blog Spot, but you could move to sites such as Wordpress or Free Webs. If you are looking for a long term "money making" scheme then I advise you to get a proper domain e.g. www.myblogrocks.com.

The real secret to earning hardcore cash on blogs is positioning of your ads and the company you are using. You don't need to have over 50,000 visitors per day to make $500, I've seen many makes $45 a day from just 1,250 visitors. You should have your site set out so a visitor will think your ads are actually apart of your site.

Chitika in my opinion is the best way for a blog to make easy money because they have photos of the actual ad which attracts users and generally click on the ads if interested. Another thing, don't have ads that are irrelevant to your blogs content. Having a blog about dogs and ads coming up saying "Cats Diet" doesn't make it any better. Try Chitika out and I guarantee you will earn more.

For some reason everyone thinks AdSense is immense, but to me it is crazy for newbie to make a blog and get over the $100 area to just get a cheque. Most of my readers are UK, so thats only £50 or so. I would rather aim to get over $10 if I just got my blog made instead of something crazy like $100!

The 3 ways of generating hardcore cash the real way are.

1. Unique and quality content. By this I mean you don't copy articles from other sites, it drags your reputation down and plus it gets you nowhere in life copying!

2. Related ads to the niche of your blog. As I said there's no point a visitor looking ads that has nothing to what he sees on the site.

3. Visitors that are interested in the topic of your site. No point having someone at your blog which might not know what your blog is about, which equals in loss of returning visitors.

Follow these keys and you will have victory in blogging. Try em' out lads.

Blog Marketing - 3 Easy Ways to Make Massive Money From Your Blog

By Fabian Tan

Blogs have occupied the centre stage in Search Engine Marketing as they are the most convenient means of quenching the thirst of search engines for fresh content. No wonder therefore, that the blogosphere is growing in size with each passing day. If you are running a successful blog or better still, a few blogs, then the 3 ways explained below will help you make money from your blog.

1. Flipping Blogs

Flipping blogs in other words means the act of selling your blogs to an interested buyer. For this to happen, your blog should have been up and running for some time and be favored with a decent level of traffic. Other attributes like back links or opt-in lists would also count. When you make money from your blog through flipping, you should carefully consider the one time payment against a steady flow of cash which your blog must already be bringing you.

2. Donations

Seeking donations, or fund raising for a variety of purposes is another utility of blogs and means for you to make money from your blog. You may need to consider the legal aspects of fund raising, set out a clear purpose and support it with credibility. The frequency at which you can employ this method to generate cash from your blog should also be considered carefully.

3. Merchandising

Programs such as Cafepress are examples of merchandising activity to make money from your blog. This income stream will be ideal for bloggers who have established themselves in a chosen niche.

3 of the Deadliest Ways to Increase Traffic to Your Blog Now!

By Fabian Tan

A blog has graduated from being a hobby to being a market intensive tool. As a blogger, you are constantly striving to increase traffic to your blog. Search engines can be used to bring about an increased traffic to a particular blog. Here are 3 of the deadliest ways to optimize the usage of the search engine for your blog.

1. The Keyword Choices

Choose lucrative keywords to increase traffic to your blog. A lucrative keyword in terms of search engine optimization refers to keywords that attract moderate levels of targeted traffic, which in turn results in more subscribers for your blog. Remember, that such keywords don't attract a large amount of traffic, but the traffic that comes in would more often than not subscribe to your blog which ultimately results in more sales for your business.

2. Placement of Keywords

Now that you have chosen your keywords the next stage is to use them properly. You need to maintain a definite balance in the use of keywords in order to establish a particular theme. A proper placement of keywords would increase traffic to your blog. Some of placement ideas are placing the keywords in the title of the post, in the URL names of the pages, or even in the permanent links that appear at the end of each blog posting.

3. A Timely Post

Generate more traffic to your blog by posting and updating your blog just one or two times a day. You can then ping this update at a particular time in the day.

Domain Mapping - How to Control Your Blog's Domain Name

By Erik Gifford

Would you prefer to have your own domain name on your blog site instead of the domain name the blogging site provided to you? With domain mapping, you can control the domain name of your blog.

Domain mapping ensures that your blog and, consequently your website, are noticed properly by the search engines. Blogs are a great way to keep your website content fresh and interesting, both to online visitors and to search engines.

To boost your search engine results, a blog is a great way to go. But a blog on another website certainly isn't going to help your cause. Domain mapping lets you transfer your blog over to your own domain name so that it will benefit your website and generate traffic for you instead of a blog hosting site.

Do you have a blog but no website to drive traffic to? It is in your best interests to buy a domain name and move your blog over to a personal site using domain mapping. Buying a domain name ensures that you have complete control over your blog. It prevents your blog hosting site from putting ads on your blog and making money off your writing.

If your blog is important to you, why not purchase a domain name for it? Your ideas are your own property, so they shouldn't be sitting in someone else's hands. Having your own domain name for your blog makes you look like a professional and polished expert in your field. Domain names can be purchased inexpensively, and your blog might just surprise you by turning from a hobby into a lucrative moneymaking website once you buy your own domain name.

Choosing a domain name does not have to be difficult. Simply pick a unique title that suits your topic matter or perhaps involves your name. Don't be dismayed if your first or second choices are already taken. Use patience, creativity and persistence, and you are sure to find the blog domain name that is perfectly suited to your needs. Then, use domain mapping technology to route your blog to your new domain.

Domain mapping is better than simply forwarding your blog to your site. The permalinks and URL of your site will contain your domain name as opposed to your blog host's, so you will reap all the search engine benefits and traffic available to you thanks to your blog and domain mapping.

After you purchase a domain name to house your blog, find out the specific instructions for domain mapping your blog to your domain. The instructions are available from your individual service provider. Sometimes, you can find the instructions listed elsewhere on the web by other likeminded individuals who have previously taken advantage of the domain mapping feature.

Domain mapping usually involves a nominal annual fee of about $10 to $15 a year, but the increase in your web traffic that you will see thanks to the inclusion of your blog in your domain are well worth the cost. Once your blog is in your hands, your site will benefit from its content.

Domain mapping is important when blogging is being used for network marketing or any business.Erik Gifford is a network marketing consultant and trainer. For a FREE consultation, call 004722520239 and visit Network Marketing Guidance
