Once you're registered you're gonna need a topic to write about. Choose a topic that you're passionate about and one you're quite familiar with. Stick to one topic, and give it your full attention. Write articles for your blog every single day. The search engines love fresh content and will reward you with a better ranking. Which means more visitors.
Once you've found a topic to write about, you're going to need to monetize your blog. Meaning you need some sort of method of making money from the visitors that come to your blog. I always recommend looking for some sort of e-book to sell. You can create your own and sell it, or become an affiliate of an existing e-book.
