Make Money With Blogger

By Tracey A Edwards

Want to make some extra cash? Well with all the great free resources on the internet it is now even easier to do that and my favorite way is to make money with Blogger. Blogger is Google's free blogging platform and one of the easiest and simplest ways to get started. All you need to do is decide on a name and theme (what you are going to write about) and start posting. Now of course there are still some extra things that you need to do to make your blog profitable than just start writing so get comfortable while I fill you in on the best ways to earn some nice money from a free Blogger blog.

Before you set up your blog you need to spend a little bit of time thinking about what you are going to write about. The reason you should do this first is so that you can decide on the best name for your blog. Having keywords in your blog's title will give it a tiny boost in the search engines so choose wisely. Obviously it needs to be something that is tied in with the theme of your blog, so if you are going to write chocolate recipes then something like cookingwithchocolate.blogspot.com would be a good name. Oh and if you do decide to blog about chocolate then let me know because I'd love to try some of your recipes!

Now you can go ahead and start your blog. Head over to Blogger.com and follow the easy instructions to get started. Once you are done you can start by writing your first post.

Unsure what you should write about? Think about how you can offer your readers great value. My recipe example from before is great, or you can offer tips on how to make money online or even choosing the perfect lipstick for your skintone. Obviously you'll need to tie each post into the theme of the site so you can't just write about random topics and hope to gain a following. Pretty soon if you write everyday or at least a few times a week your blog will start showing up in search engines and people will begin to visit.

Now that you've got traffic you can put some money making features onto your blog. One of the easiest ways to earn some cash is to write reviews for products in your niche that you earn a commission on. Every third or fourth post make a review about a product that is helpful to someone in your niche. So going back to our chocolate example, perhaps you can recommend a great fondue set or chocolate moulds that your readers might like.

You can find lots of different items to promote where you earn a commission from places like Amazon, eBay or digital products on Clickbank. Pretty soon your free Blogger blog will be making some great money for you.

How to Get Web Site Traffic to Your Blog Today

By Tracey A Edwards

Need more web site traffic to your blog? Getting more traffic is the major determining factor over whether your blog is going to be successful or not, after all it doesn't matter how useful and informative your writing is, if no-one visits you'll never know how popular your blog will be. So let's look at some simple methods that you can do today to help get more visitors to your page.

Before we start getting into tools such as pinging or social bookmarking to get more traffic, let's first look at the blog itself and the types of posts you are making. To be successful you need to write about topics that people are interested in and would be searching for. That means that you can leave the story about your cat or your boyfriend to tell Nanna when she next visits and instead concentrate on more topical or useful information.

Next you need to start thinking about the terms that people would be typing in to a search engine to find such a post. If you are writing about your favorite PS3 game then tips and strategies for solving hard levels would be far more popular than just talking about how you got top score or how 'cool' a game is. Next have a quick look to see if anyone else is actually searching for different keywords for your topic. Head over to Wordtracker at freekeywords.wordtracker.com and type in a keyword to see how many daily searches it gets. Try and look for a phrase that has at least 30 daily searches. Next go to Google and see how much competition that phrase has by putting your keywords in "quotes". If there are under 10,000 competing web pages then you are onto a winner.

Once you have made each post send a message to the search engines that your blog is now updated by pinging it. You can do that at places such as pingomatic.com or pingoat.com. Just enter your blog address and name and choose the General pinging list and submit.

Finally send free traffic to your blog via article marketing (yes just like this article you are reading now is designed to send traffic to my site, you can do the same with yours). Writing relevant and helpful articles and using your address in the author resource box is a great way to drive targeted traffic directly to your blog.

How to Add Your Blog to a Squidoo Lens

By Tiffany Dow

Ever wonder how to add your blog to a Squidoo lens? It's really very easy once you know how to master the use of an RSS Feed module. Here are the exact steps to help you add your blog to your own Squidoo lenses and build a following of subscribers.

Step 1:

Log into Squidoo and on your dashboard, click the second tab at the top of the page that says, "My Lenses." Hover over the title of the lens that you want to place your blog on and click the Edit link.

Step 2:

Once you're in the edit mode for the lens you want to add your blog to, click the button at the top of the page that says, "Add Modules."

Step 3:

Immediately, you'll see the list of Starter Package modules that you can add. You'll be on page one. There's a link directly below that list that says "1 2 next." Click "next" and it will take you to another list of modules. Hover over the one that says, "RSS: Add Your Own Feed." Click the Add link next to this module.

Step 4:

Click the Preview Lens Layout button on the bottom right side of the page and it will show you a list of all of the modules you currently have on your lens. Drag and drop the RSS module wherever you would like it to be (I personally prefer to have it directly above my guestbook module). Now click Save, which will take you back to edit mode in your lens.

Step 5:

Scroll down to the RSS module and click the Edit button. Give your RSS module a title such as, "News About (and enter your niche topic)." You can also add a subtle if you wish as well as a description.

Step 6:

You'll see the question, "What URL would you like to pull RSS from?" Here is where you'll put your blog RSS feed URL. It will look something like this: http://www.YourDomainURL.com/blog/feed/ - highlight and copy this so that you can paste it directly below the question.

Step 7:

Then it will ask, "How many headlines would you like to show?" You can choose any number

Step 8:

Then it will ask, "Would you like to include an excerpt from each link in the feed?" I like to choose to show "excerpt 100 characters," but you can choose to only show title links or show everything (but be warned that this may be a space hog).

Step 9:

Next, it will need to know, "How frequently should the module be updated?" You can choose many options that range from every 30 minutes (if you're a frequent blogger) to weekly. I normally choose daily.

Step 10:

The last question will be, "Would you like to display HTML in the excerpt?" You can choose yes or no, depending on your personal preferences.

Step 11:

Last, click the Save button and you've just learned how to add your blog to a Squidoo lens! Now don't forget to republish your lens so that the public will see it.

Guess what other kinds of RSS feeds you can use? You can put an RSS feed to your other lenses to help cross-promote them! Want to learn more than just how to add your blog to a Squidoo lens?

How to Make Money From Blogs - Easy Blog Profits

By Peter Nisbet

You can make money from blogs if you know what you are doing, but in order to know what you are doing you have to understand three things:

1. How blogs work and how they can be used to advertise.

2. How search engines work, and how you can make your blog search engine friendly, and

3. The major internet marketing and advertising techniques that can be used on your blog.

The objective here is to explain to you how to use blogs to make money by making use of your knowledge of these three factors. So, first, how do blogs work, and how can they be used to advertise?

How Blogs Work in Advertising

A blog is basically a means of communicating with others, and providing them with information. It does so by being available on the World Wide Web through the internet, and anybody that knows the name or URL of your blog can access it at any time they want either by clicking on a hyperlinked URL or anchor text, or entering the URL of the blog into their browser.

In order to keep people interested in your blog you must make regular postings, and also allow others to leave comments on your blog. This does two things: it keeps your readers interested as stated, but also keeps the search engines interested. More on that in the next section.

Because your blog belongs to you, and you can include any content you like within the terms and conditions (TOC) of the blog provider, then you can use it to advertise. You have a lot more latitude in the content of your blog if you run it from your own website, but even those hosted by the blog provider, such as Blogger or the version or Wordpress operated from Wordpress.com, allow a fair amount to latitude in your content.

What that means is that your blog can be used as a powerful advertising medium. You only have to know how to use it as such to make money. Before you can do that, however, you have to learn how search engines operate with respect to blogs, and how you can make your blog search engine friendly and get listed on Google and the other major search engines.

How Search Engines Work and How to use SEO in Blogging

Search engine basically work using the concept of keywords. Keywords are nothing more than the words that people use when searching for information on the search engines. If you are looking for information on how to make money from your blog you could use terms such as "how to make money from blogs", "blogging for money", how to use blogs for money", "using blogs to make cash" and so on: there are countless ways to phrase a search for how money can be made using blogs. Each one of these is a keyword (a keyword can consist of one or several words).

You have to persuade the search engines that your blog or website provides better information on the keyword than the others. There are many ways in which you can do that, and Google uses well over a hundred different aspects of your blog or website in their calculation that determines that relevance. The calculations are used by what are known as 'algorithms' and are the basis behind the search engine listings of all search engines.

However, what does that mean to you? Your postings must be optimized to make best use of the keywords related to your blog without constantly repeating them, and there are ways of achieving that.

Internet Marketing and Advertising Techniques

There are many internet marketing techniques that you can use on your blog. AdSense is one, whereby you get paid whenever a visitor to your blog clicks on a Google advert. Another is affiliate marketing where you sell products from your blog for a commission. You can also use your blog to promote your own products or services.

The secret is not WHAT you are promoting on your blog, but HOW you are promoting it. Most bloggers have no idea how to promote products or services, even though that could be a significant opportunity for them to make money online. Once you have discovered the possibilities, and have learned how to make the best of them, then the word is your oyster.

It doesn't matter if your internet platform is a blog or a website, if you know how to make money from blogs, then easy blog profits are within your grasp.

Freelance Writing Jobs For Bloggers - How to Blog For Money

By Lisa Jenkins

If you're looking for writing jobs online, it likely won't be long before you begin to explore blogging options. When working with some clients, you'll be paid per blog post, but often, you'll receive part of your salary based on your traffic. In other words, the more traffic you get to your blog's website, the more you'll get paid. So, when blogging for money, traffic matters.

How can you increase your traffic? It is a combination between post topics, promotion, and search engine optimization. Above all, you need to have quality posts that people really want to read. As a beginner, building your traffic can be tricky, but here are some great tips for finding those readers:

Tip #1: Title your blog posts well.

Whenever you write a blog post, title it with the topic in mind. Funny or cute titles might make you feel creative, but they aren't good for your traffic. First, readers want to skim your site and see exactly what topics they want to read. Second, if your title your post transparently, you'll be using keywords for your topic, which will make you easy to find on search engines.

Tip #2: Offer tips, secrets, or instructions that readers can find other places.

The Internet is saturated with information. What can readers find at your site that makes them want to come back? You can use search engine optimization to get readers to your blog in the first place, but the only way to consistently increase your traffic is to write posts that your readers can't find everywhere else. Avoid generic posts that don't contribute anything - if readers see those posts, they won't be back.

Tip #3: Update the blog constantly.

Blogging really is a lot of work. Some bloggers update their sites ten or more times per day. If your blog is news-based, you might update even more often. Some topics don't demand ten updates a day, but you should try to update at least once a day. You should also spread your posts out over time. For example, if you write three posts a day, they should go live at 9:00 am, Noon, and 4:00 pm, rather than at 9:00 am, 9:30 am, and 10 am. The more often you update, the more traffic you'll get to your site in general.

Tip #4: Define your niche clearly.

Blogs with general topics usually don't do well because people can find specific news at other places. For example, a general celebrity blog typically won't do as well as a blog about a specific celebrity (like Brad Pitt) or a specific kind of celebrity (like celebrity moms). You can even define your topic even more by your style of writing. For example, maybe you cover the news about Brad Pitt in a funny way, or maybe you focus on help people find the fashions worn by celebrity moms. The more clearly defined your niche, the more successful you'll be - in most cases. Sometimes, if you define a topic too much, you simply won't find enough people online to care and you'll have a hard time updating daily. A blog about training dogs in general, for example, might to better than a blog about training dogs to sit. Don't over-define!

Tip #5: Make your blog posts reader-friendly.

Online, long blocks of text are difficult to read. When you're blogging, consider how your post will seem to readers. Include bullet points, numbered lists, paragraph breaks, and pictures. If your posts are long, you should even consider whether they shouldn't be broken up into multiple shorter posts. Blog posts generally get the most traffic if they are between 200 and 400 words and are easy to skim.

If you're trying to increase your traffic, basically, you want to take steps to convince readers to come back. Search engine optimization and post promotion on social networking sites are both important, but having a devoted readership is the only way to see your stats rise over time.

For blog writing jobs that pay according to traffic, long-term readers will be your bread and butter. The bottom line is that there aren't enough qualified people to fill all of the advertised freelance writing jobs these days. Your New Blog is Screaming "I'm a Newbie!"

By Jared Conley

So you've finally got Wordpress software installed on your domain. And guess what? You look like a complete NEWBIE! Your configuration defaults are a dead giveaway that you don't know your way around your blog's management panel. In this article, we'll look at the steps you'll need to take to get things working properly.

1) Post and Comment Cleanup: The default WordPress post and comment is a dead giveaway of a new blog. So delete them quickly! We don't need to hear what "Mr. Wordpress" thinks of your first post.

2) Categories cleanup: Another sure sign of a new blog is the "Uncategorized" category. Because all blogs must have at least one category, it can't be deleted, but it can be modified. Stick with something generic that doesn't scream "NEW BLOG!" "Announcements" usually works well.

3) Edit the About Page: Want to disappoint any potential long-term readers of your blog? Simple enough. Leave your "About" page empty. If you want to form a relationship with your readers and get them to stick around, spend a little time customizing your About page. Add your background, what the blog will be about, a photo, etc. Blogging is about connecting with your readers, and this is one way to start.

4) Attend to your Blogroll: if you don't have any relevant partners or sites to highlight, get rid of the blogroll for now. You can always add it back whenever you want.

5) Change your Timezone: So that your blog posts are properly timestamped, edit the default timezone in your general settings section. WordPress can't yet auto-detect Daylight Savings, so if you live in an area that uses it, be sure to adjust your time accordingly.

6) Verify your Update Services: Ping, short for Packet Internet Grouper, is a packet sent from one computer to another that essentially says "Hey, I'm here and I've updated!" By default, you should have Pingomatic listed, which is an aggregate pinger (it pings other ping services), but I like to add Blogflux's pinger as well to tie up any loose ends (e.g. Google).

7) Determine your Comment Policy: commenting should be as free as possible, but you need to balance comments with spam and trolls. Decide on your comment policy and set your options accordingly. I usually allow free comment posting with a name and e-mail address, but I'll hold any comment with more than one link in the moderation queue.

8) Configure your Permalinks: make your post URL's look pretty with nice looking permalinks. The most common settings are /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/ and /%postname%/.

While the above steps aren't inclusive of what you need to do to get your blog up and running, they are the general configuration options you will want to address so that your blogging experience doesn't stick out like a sore thumb when you start attracting those readers!

How to Start a Blog to Make Online Revenue - Part 4 - Monetization of Your Blog

By Ben Moreno

In the previous post I talked about creating traffic to your blog. Traffic is a good thing. It is the life blood of your blog. In order to make money off of the traffic you will need to use some monetizing techniques. There are a variety of things you can use out there to make money. One of the most common and easiest ways is to use Google Adsense.

Advertising

Setup an account with Google Adsense and you can start creating ad units of all types and variety to display on your blog. Be sure to create channels for the diffferent adsense units you create so you can see which ads are being clicked on and which ones are not. This is the way you can fine tune your ad units for maximum revenue. Remember you can only have up to 3 different ads for content units on 1 page at a time. Never click on your own ads either.

Google Adsense is pay per click advertising. This means that all people have to do is click on the ads and you will get paid. There are other forms of advertising such as pay per impression but we don't need to go into that here because you have a new blog and you don't get much page impressions yet. Focus on making the payperclick work first.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs are another easy way to earn money from new blogs. You simply sign up for a program and they will provide you with links to products and services. You place these links in posts and on your blog and promote them. If someone clicks on the links through your site and purchases the product or service then you get a commision on the sale. Here is a list of some of the programs I use.

Revresponse

Amazon

Article Marketer

Payperpost

Commission Junction

You should try signing up with multiple affiliates and try out different products, etc. until you find what fits best for your blog. Obviously it is necessary to choose products and services that fit what your blog is all about.

You can visit my Make Money page for more affiliate programs and ways to make money online. I update this page often so be sure to check back there once in awhile for new ideas.

Don't be afraid to experiment. It is the best way to learn in my opinion. In order to eventually become a true expert you will need know what you are talking about and to do that you must dive in and try things. Hands on training.

Top 5 Blogging Mistakes You Must Avoid

By Alvin Phang

We as humans are not born perfect even sometimes I also do make mistakes. It's great to make mistakes because it's only when you made the mistake will you be able to learn how to solve them and do less of them. I thought of sharing some of my major top 5 mistakes I made when I blog online so that you are aware not to do them too.

1. When Blogging Do Not Use Your Own Symbols Readers Will Not Understand.

I think it's because I love to chat on online chat messenger, I tend to always use symbols like =) or =P in my blogging articles. I discover that what I assume people may understand they see a smiling face to be a whole different thing to someone else on a foreign country. Do try to avoid you any symbols to express expression on your blogs.

2. Spell Check Your Blog Post

I am seriously very guilty when it comes to this, it is not because I do not know how to do it. But when you have spent an hour more or less on writing the content sometimes it is even more tiring to check the spelling. That is the major reason why you sometimes do see some spelling errors on this blog. I am really sorry on that.

3. Get Someone To Proof Read Your Content

Another major mistake I always do is my lack of grammar as my level of English is really poor and it is not because English is my 2nd language it is actually my first language. However since I was young, my English has always been very poor but that have not stop me from blogging and making money from it.

You can consider getting local people in your country to hire to do some proof reading on your blog. It will cost you money but I feel in the long run if your blog is able to generate some form of income. Getting a proof reader should be a good investment.

4. Do Not Hard Sell In Your Blog Post

I was monitoring my blog recently, and I realized when ever I did some form of pitching on my blog and do not give any valuable tips the subscription to the blog would drop. So if you want to avoid that to happen, you will require to give more value to your readers to learn more tips from you and have your products at the end of the post. To make it more effective try to make your affiliate links to look as if it's just a recommendation.

5. Do Not Go Off Topic On Your Blog

Because what you are reading is a blog and you can virtually talk about almost anything on your blog, I would not recommend you talk too much on your personal stories but instead should be giving more valuable advice so that people can learn more from you. As you give more valuable advice to your readers the more they would want to come back for more.

Summary

I felt I am really guilty at always making all those same mistakes above and I am well aware of my mistakes but some how I cannot avoid them. It is because hiring people to avoid all those mistakes is not a really cheap option, it can cost as much as US$500 a month just to do all my proof reading. But I guess what more important is that every mistake made there is always lessons you can learn from it. But my best advice when you blog just speak from your heart and people will like who you are.

10 Reasons Why You Must Use a Hosted Wordpress

By Alvin Phang

This article is written for only 1 reason and it is to alert those people who are currently using FREE stuff like blogger or xanga or many others out there.

Just remember one thing, anything given for FREE most cases there is a reason for it =) I tried using blogger myself and I end up using a hosted Wordpress and I never once look back at using others.

Just in case you are not aware what Wordpress is, it's actually a free open source software at Wordpress which you can download and install to create your blogs. However the one that I am using is what we call a server based Wordpress which is much much more powerful then the online free version.

Here Are 10 Reasons Why You Must Use A Hosted Wordpress

1. There Are 3,000 Or More FREE Templates Themes You Can Use For Your Wordpress Blog

In fact I think it growing everyday with more and more FREE Template Themes online everyday, two of my favorite resources are Theme Viewer & Wordpress Themes.

In those two website along you can find virtually hundreds of different themes and designs all for FREE and no other platform as that much resources compared to Wordpress =)

2. Over Hundreds of FREE Plug ins For Your Hosted Wordpress

Wordpress Plugin Database is one such site where you can find tons and tons of interesting plug ins to help enhance your blogging experience with Wordpress.

Some of them are so powerful that you can actually create a whole shopping cart or entertainment blog just by using the free plug ins available.

3. Wordpress Blogs Has Powerful Categories

Blogger also has something similar called labels but it's not as powerful as categories in Wordpress, because you can actually use these categories to do your search engine optimization to get rank high in search engines

4. User Friendly & Easy To Use

If you have tried Wordpress or just sign up for hosting and install it, you will realized it is really simple to use. All you need in terms of knowledge is the know hows of using Microsoft Words and Internet Browsers and you can actually start using or posting stuff on your blog quite easily!

5. 90% Of All Popular Blogs Use A Hosted Wordpress As Their Platform

If you go to Technorati.com which they have over 107 Million blogs to date, most of them are using Wordpress and the reason is because it's very strong and expandable with hundreds of resources you can find online.

6. Integrated Password Protection For Valuable Information

If you have a selected pool of customers or readers you like to give them special information, you can actually password protect the post to prevent outsiders from accessing your information.

7. Seamless Integration With Videos And Audio

You can easily add videos from YouTube and Audio files too with the help of plug ins and this will allow your readers to have more powerful content for your sites.

8. Encourage Interaction With Your Readers

Because a blog naturally does one thing with readers and that is to interact with them in terms of getting feedback with comments you see below. This is really important as with interaction with your readers, it allows you to be even closer to your readers and once you have built a strong relationship with your readers the chances they would buy something would be higher too.

9. Widget Ready Themes

Hate designing? Well with simple widget ready themes, you can simply drag and drop menus around the blog quite easily by just dragging and dropping around the design. One such theme that I created with those features, you can actually download it for free at this link here

10. Hosted Wordpress Is FREE To Install!

Last but not least, the hosted Wordpress is FREE to install and use as long as you have a domain name and hosted server you can host a Wordpress for FREE and it only takes about 3 minutes to setup one.

Summary

If you are looking for a good host to host your wordpress I would highly recommend you use this host. It only cost US$7.95 per month and they give you 600GB of SPACE and 6,000 Bandwidth which is ALOT!

Once you do that just go into your hosting account and install the Wordpress to get started with your blog =) And if you need more details or step by step details how to start a blog just click here to get the guide book. Do leave your feedback below if you learn something from this article.

Make Money Online With a Free Blogger Blog

By Tracey A Edwards

Need some extra cash to help revive your bank balance? These days it seems if everyone claims to have the magic formula to make money online, but if everyone knew how to do it, why aren't they? They truth is that you don't need to any special skills to make money online especially when you have resources like free blogger blogs to help set you up. In fact using a blog is fast becoming one of the best (and easiest) ways to make money online and this article will show you how you can set yourself up in just a few minutes.

Obviously you will need to have a blog to get started so head over to blogger.com and register for an account with Google. If you already have an account with the big G (such as a gmail email account) then you can skip that part can click the Get Started Now button.

You be asked to provide a name for your blog and this is very important so think about this carefully. Your url for your blog is going to be whateveryouwant.blogspot.com where whateveryouwant is your unique url so try and think about the things you are going to be writing about. If you blog is going to talk about surviving college then try and use those words as your blog address. Naming your blog after the content means it's probably going to rank much higher in the search engines so you'll get more traffic - and the more traffic you get the more money you can make.

Follow through with the instructions by choosing a template and then you are ready to start writing in your blog.

Now the key to creating a great blog that makes money online is all about the traffic you generate so make sure that your posts are appealing to both search engines so you get ranked well and that they provide value to readers so they'll want to continue to come back for more.

To get ranked well in Google and other search engines you need to make sure that your titles and content have good keywords that people might use to find your blog. If you are writing a post about the food at the cafeteria at your college then make sure you use keywords that people would search for such as 'How to Survive the Food at Your College Cafeteria'. Not only does that post sound intriguing enough for people to click on it to find out what the post is about, you also don't have much competition in the search engines for this term [at the time of writing this article].

Once you start getting some traffic you can add some money making features to your blog such as those outlined in Blog Cash.

How to Make Money Blogging - It's All About Your Keywords

By Tracey A Edwards

To have the kind of blog that makes you some sweet cash you need to be able to master one thing - and that is traffic generation. It's a simple equation - the more traffic you have, the more money you are likely to make. Of course the content you have is important too otherwise people are just going to press the back button and leave your site forever, but to be truly successful you need to get them there in the first place and to do that and know how to make money blogging you need to think carefully about your keywords.

Now that doesn't mean you should just stick your keyword or keyphrase over and over again in the title, in every paragraph, even in your image alt tags - oh no my friend it isn't as easy as that. Google is wise to those little tricks and is likely to flag your blog for spamming and you certainly don't want that happening, but you do want it to rank for that keyphrase so what is the best number of times to include your keywords?

While many people might throw around figures from 1% all the way up to 8%, from all the studies I have done, 2-3% works best for me for getting on pages 1-3 on Google. Anything more and I disappear and anything less and I'm on page gazillion. I actually did this as a test on a blog of mine. I had the keyphrase at about 5% density on the page and I couldn't even find myself on the search engines. I edited some of the words out and rearranged things so I was only 2% optimized and voila, I appear on page two for a highly searched for term.

So how do you make your blog around 2% density for its keyphrase? Well a 2% density for a typical 300 word blog post means your phrase should appear around 5-6 times. So for me that is usually once in the title, once in the first paragraph, once in the body of the post and then finally once at the end in the conclusion. I also add it once to one picture as an alt tag. That usually gives me a perfect number of times.

Other ways you can boost your ranking for that keyword without adding it any more is to place more importance on those words. You can do this by either bolding, underlining or italicizing them or even making them a heading. This tells the search engines that they are more important than the regular text on the page so you get higher points without being seen as spammy.

Finally you need to also keep into consideration that you are writing primarily for people and not search engines so make sure that your phrase fits well in the sentence and makes sense to readers and not out of place. By now you should be a master and know how to make money blogging and start earning some serious cash.

Blogging Money Secrets - It's All About Your Blog Post Titles

By Tracey A Edwards

When people do a search for information related to your blog, the first thing they will see in the search engine results is your blog post title. That is of course if they can find you at all. And since you want to get more blogging money into your pocket you need to make sure that people are not only find your blog in the first few pages, but are compelled enough to click through to find out more.

Let's first look at the keywords that you should use for your blog post titles and then we'll look at adding the sizzle to make people want to visit your site and find out more.

SEO for blogs is important for ranking, however the trick is to make it look as natural as possible and not as though you have just stuffed your keywords into every single paragraph. Not only will people get bored if all they see is the same keyword repeated over and over, but they are likely to never come back. So how do you combine good keyword optimization with a great blog?

The most important place that you need your keyword or keyphrase is in your blog post title. Many people say that you should write it twice: Cure Acne: Secrets to Cure Acne, but Google is starting to cotton on to these tricks so my advice is to use it once only. Then only use it no more than twice throughout your blog post of 250 words or more. That should give you a keyphrase density of about 2-3% which is about perfect for Google's liking.

Now we need to write our title to entice people to visit our blog. There are many ways to do this but the top methods are to provide something of value for your visitor and promise that in your title. Starting your blog post with "How to .." is an easy and great way to draw readers but my absolute favorite way is by using curiosity. "How to Get Your Dog to Stop Barking Using This Ingredient from My Spice Rack" is guaranteed to have people clicking through to find out what the magic ingredient is going to be.

As you can see combining both good SEO and also writing your blog title to entice people to visit your blog is the fastest way to get people to visit and have them coming back, and of course that means more blogging money for you.
