Internet Marketing Blog - 3 Essential Components For a Successful Blog

By Gary Baker

If you run or are thinking about starting an internet marketing blog you need to know 3 essential elements that will help you turn your blog into a traffic attracting monster.

1.) Content

A successful internet marketing blog is full of content. You started a blog to earn money and the only way that can happen is if you keep your readers interested. Content is king on the internet and if you do not keep yours fresh and new your readers will wander away.

If you are stumped for new content open up your email and see what your customers want. They will tell you if you make use of a contact link as described above.

You should never be at a loss for fresh new content. There are article directories such as ezinearticles.com that provide content free of charge. All you have to do is agree to give the original author credit through use of their Author's Resource Box. Actually you have to do that, it is a requirement in order to use the material.

2.) Testimonials

Never under estimate the value of a customer's opinion. Contact your customers from time to time and ask how they enjoyed the latest product that they purchased. Ask them if you can use their response on your blog. The power of a testimonial is great when used correctly.

3.) Privacy Policy

Many people today do not like giving out their personal information such as their name and email address. You can help to overcome this problem by providing a privacy policy that states that you will not sell the information to any third parties. This policy should either be displayed on every page of your internet marketing blog or at the very least be a separate page that has a link on every page.

If you intend to sell your visitors information then never make the statement that you will not. While your customers may not do anything in the event that you do it is simply unethical.

Content, testimonials, and a privacy policy are 3 essential components to not only a successful blog but any effort as an internet marketer. Be on the look out for more articles that will help you tweak your blog and turn it into a website to be proud of.

Internet Marketing Blog - 2 More Essentials to a Successful Blog

By Gary Baker

Is your internet marketing blog performing the way that you expected it to? If not then perhaps you are missing two of the essentials to a successful internet marketing blog.

1.) Make your blog easy to navigate

Have you ever visited on of the clearance sale type of department stores? You know stores like Big Lots, Odd Lots, or any of a number of others. How easy is it to find exactly what you are looking for? Most of these stores are disorganized and products are just shoved in the first available space. Is your blog like that?

If visitors cannot find what they are looking for then they will leave. It is that simple.

Keep your internet marketing blog neat and tidy with every link where it belongs and easily found and your visitors will be quite happy. Happy visitors are more likely to spend money.

2.) A Contact Link

When determining what content that you should put on your internet marketing blog you should listen to your readers. If you let them, your readers will tell you exactly what they want to read about. In doing this they are also telling you what they would be willing to buy.

Put a contact link on your blog. This can be as simple as your email address or as elaborate as a custom contact form where you readers can fill in the blanks. Your readers can be your biggest resource when creating products to sell or content to post. Make it easy for them to reach you.

When customers contact you with questions you should answer them via return email but then use the subject of the question as content. Chances are that if one of your readers has a question that there are more who would like to know the answer but did not contact you.

Ease of navigation will go a very long way in converting visitors to subscribers. The easier it is to find information the more your visitors will like it. Providing a contact link can give you the ability to "read the mind" of your viewers. No it is not magic. Your viewers will tell you what they want by using your contact form.

Targeting Each Other and Over Planning

By Ari K.

We tend to think that writing writing and more writing for our blogs is the only way to get some of that nice web traffic over to our sites or blogs. All sorts of techniques are thrown out there, from SEO to "don't you know...?"

Now I am with the many when I say that you have to write articles if you want that traffic too, but sometimes I feel that we are all going around in circles because if we write about internet marketing, then we are going to get internet marketers as an audience instead of whom we really want, which is "customers."

It's almost like a person that is in (was) in the mortgage industry. He joins a lot of mortgage associations to drum up business, but everyone at those events is a "mortgage guy", so how likely is that to generate business? Yes, it helps, but I see too much time wasted in networking events as I see too much emphasis placed by would be internet marketers on staying completely current on every move the lead internet marketers make.

Things do change and techniques improve and ideas emerge, but they don't do it over night. I talked with a newbie blogger that has started his blog over three months ago, and I asked him how was it so far, and this was his answer: "great, I've read a lot of articles on internet marketing, creating my site, and fine tuning everything to get ready." And I said, "ready for what?" He said, "you know, to start marketing." I wanted to chuckle a bit but I had to understand what he was going through as I know that at least 1/2 of the people that will read this, will feel the same (because that's exactly what they did/done/doing now).

It just seems like the guy that wants to start a lemonade stand spends too much time planning the lemonade stand and all its components and forgetting the main ingredient: lemons. As for internet would be marketers, its okay to work on your site and blog, but put the horse before the carriage and start writing articles, content, and materials for your site/blog, even if the theme or interface look like crap for now. Remember that your data is in a database and it doesn't really care what its "face" looks like, it will generate traffic either way -with our without a fancy looking blog or theme.

After all, it takes search engines MONTHS sometimes to index all your material anyway, so you are going to spend a few months "down" before you see any of the ups of internet marketing.

With what PPC costs, it is well worth creating content for organic search placement.

The Potential of Blogging

By Shona Dosher

Online advertising has tapped into the potential of using blog's to market and advertise your business.

Blogging is a simple way to get your products or services on the net. It's like having a virtual piece of paper to write down your experiences, ideas, products, and services. The goal is to entice your reader to try your products and to create a relationship so people want to find out more about you. People enjoy reading blog's because these are real people sharing real life experiences.

As you get more into writing your experiences on a particular product, your readers will come to realize they can depend on your posts for their own information.

You can build your market through blogging by using your email. Send out a short email message as a teaser to your blog site. This will make people curious enough to go to your blog and read what you've written. Keep it interesting!

A good way to get their email address is to get your readers to subscribe to your blog site. Entice readers to subscribe by offering exclusive information for subscribers only.

Ask for feedback from your readers. This will let them know that you care about what they think. Learn more about your readers by conducting a simple survey that will help you to understand their reading and advertising preferences.

One very important thing is to use RSS feeds. This is definitely a way to generate awareness of your blog's.

If you're looking for a simple yet effective way to advertise, blogging can have a lot of potential.

Niche Market - Secrets of Choosing a Successful Topic For Your Niche Blog

By Sebastian Vandershunt

With the recent explosion in niche marketing blogs, some corners of the web can have some pretty steep competition. Because of this, many great sites go unseen and thus do not reach their full potential. You do not have to let this happen to you! By being an intelligent niche blogger, you can almost guarantee success in any topic you decide to dominate. By properly researching the popularity, competitiveness, and profitability of markets you are thinking of entering, you can decide if those areas are worth working in. This article was written specifically to help you gain the basics of effective and efficient niche market research so you can start to build a booming blog empire.

If you have no idea what niche market you may be interested in, you can start by considering areas you already have an interest in. Maybe you have a hobby you have been pursuing for years, and that you're already an expert in. Perhaps you know some topics you always wanted to know about but could never drag yourself around to researching. These are just two ways you can use to brainstorm ideas that you could turn into a blog or website. If you truly have no idea what topics you should consider marketing, then some good places to look at are eBay's pulse page, the Google trends website, or simply walk down the magazine section of your favorite bookstore to look for themes that keep popping up! Once you have a list of 3 to 6 potential topics for your site, you can quickly research the popularity of the niche.

By niche popularity, I mean that you will be determining if related phrases are searched for often enough. There are many great keyword research tools available, and some of the best are free. I personally use Google's keyword tool since Google is the king of the search engines. You will enter your main topics one at a time and look to see how many related phrases are searched for each month. Different niche bloggers will use different numbers, but phrases can generally be considered popular enough to target if they have at least 300 to 500 searches per month. The point of doing this is that the phrases are ones you will potentially write blog posts or website pages about to give your readers original, useful content to read. Determine if your topic has 30 to 50 popular phrases. If not, toss that idea and move onto the next one in your list.

Once you have narrowed your list down a bit by eliminating ideas that don't reach the popularity threshold, you determine if the rest are too competitive or not. The most often used technique once again harnesses the power of Google (and is free too). Search each of the 30 to 50 phrases within quotations (e.g. "your phrase") and see how many results show up. You want this number to be as low as possible. Try for less than 100,000 to 150,000 competing sites, but even lower is better. Some experts recommend accepting up to 200,000 competitive sites, but I like to target markets that have as few competitors as possible. If most of the phrases in your niche market research come up below this limit, your topic has passed the first two experiments. If not, then throw that idea out and move on.

The last important feature is the profitability of the niche topic. One way of testing this is to do a few searches on Google and look at the number of "sponsored ads that pop up. If there are a bunch of advertisements, then this niche market probably has a lot of potential to it. Other methods that can be used involve looking for related Amazon products or ClickBank items that you can sell. Alternatively, you can check eBay for auctions that people researching your topic would likely want to buy. These are all products you can place on your site and earn affiliate commission from.

There you have it - a quick, concise guide to doing proper research before you ever start working on a website or niche blog. These steps work! If you remember to do them, you can rest assured that your hard work will most likely pay off and lead to money flowing into your bank pockets.

If you want your niche research to be of any value, you need to know how to make a website that visitors want to read. The best methods all target natural search engine traffic. ProBlogger Tips and Techniques

By Rex Wisehar

I thought I would write a little educational piece on the blogging world. Why? In the years I've spent dipping into Internet Marketing, I've found blogging to be one of the hottest tools out there...yet most people don't know what to do with a blog once they get it up.

So here you go folks! Time for a blog run-down...

Ok, so some of you may be total internet marketing newbies and aren't even too sure on what a blog is, so I'll start there. A blog is a website of sorts used to post entries (like a diary) on whatever topic you're excited to share with the world. Maybe you'll use your blog to write about your company's progress or affiliate products you're selling. Maybe you want to write about environmental issues or the latest in politics.

My only warning is, make sure you like your general theme, whatever it may be. Did you know blogs on the Technorati 100 list (a ranking of top blogs) consist of users who've been writing their blogs for an average of 33.8 months??? So that's why you want to pick something you like writing about.

Now, don't let that discourage you! Everything takes a little time to build, right?

Let me give you some top tips on how to make your blog a hit so you don't have to wait 2+ years to get a following.

First, I recommend you make a content plan - before you even make one post! Figure out how many times per week you want to make posts. Do you want to post several short posts a day, a couple times a week? Or do you want to write more detailed posts every day? You don't have to overdo it to make people interested - keep that in mind. So, let's say you want to write one post 5 days a week. I suggest you make a content plan (a topic per entry) for one full month - about 20 or so topics. You will really be thankful for this on days where you have little time to write, or days when you are stuck on what to write about.

Second, I recommend you link to really great stuff in your blog! Whether you embed a YouTube video and make that your post, add a poll or survey, link to other people's blogs, etc. Most internet users come to the internet to communicate and have some fun. People spend hours surfing for entertaining videos, pictures, or audio. So why not include those in your blog? Your following will love it! Caution: Do not over-use this. Just sprinkle these ideas throughout your blog - maybe a couple a week, depending on how much you post.

And third, remember that people LOVE lists. What do I mean by this? If you made a post on "The Top 5 Things You'll Hate About _____" or "9 Ways to Get Out of _______", etc. Readers probably don't want to spend hours on your blog. They have other places to go, right? So keep that in mind when sitting down to write. Keep it short and sweet and they will get their dose, AND be sure to share with others.

Useful Tips For Monetizing Your Blog

By Larry McCullough

For most Internet marketers, a blog is a vehicle to help them make money. Sure, they may be interested in helping other people and providing them with a good resource to glean information from. However, in most cases, the bottom line is to make money. This is why it is very important that a blog is monetized. There are quite a few ways to do this and only require that you become members of a few key websites.

One way to monetize their blog is to use pay-per-click advertising. Companies like Google Adsense and Chitika will pay you, the blog owner, every time someone clicks on one of their sponsored ads placed on your blog. This is a really popular way to monetize your blog or web site, because you're not selling anything. People are more apt to press on a link that they believe will give them more information about a topic that they are already interested in. You are essentially acting as a resource guide.

Affiliate programs are also another great way to monetize your blog. Many product owners will have banners available and you will simply need to place them on your web site. You may also use text links to advertise your affiliate products or business services. It goes without saying that whatever you are advertising needs to be related to your blog topic or it needs to be at least complementary.

Pay-per-download (or install) is another option. This generally works by giving away a free piece of software. Every piece of software that gets downloaded from your site makes you money.

Pay-per-impression is another great method to monetize your blog. You get paid every time someone comes to your blog. Generally you don't get paid much. However, if you can draw a lot of traffic to your blog, you can make some pretty decent profits.

Seriously consider advertising your own product. If you have an e-book that you have written, have rights to or a physical product that is related to your blog, make sure that advertise it.

CPA or cost per action programs are another option. These are essentially lead generation programs. These tend to be very popular in the insurance and mortgage industry. You simply get your visitor to provide their contact information and then you get paid per lead. These actually pay pretty good and the money can add up really fast if you can get targeted traffic.

Selling blog reviews can also be lucrative. You can either write the review yourself for someone else's product or web site or you can have them right it themselves. You will place the review on your blog for a fee. The amount of money they you will be able to charge, will be will dependent on how many visitors you average. The more visitors that average, the more money you can charge.

Some Useful Knowledge to Start Blogging For Cash

By Kumar Ashok

One of the most common questions asked online is how do I start blogging for cash. Blogging can be a very rewarding pursuit. Some are attracted to the financial rewards from hearing stories of rag to riches achieved through blogging, while others are in it for the leisurely pleasure of sharing an idea or two with the rest of the world. Successful people make five to six figure incomes from it by using certain methods, creating amazing figures.

Today, the blogger will have many choices how he wishes to monetize his or her blog. You can find direct advertising options as well as affiliate offers. If you are willing to search, there are plenty of ways to make money from a blog. There is one element for success that you need to make successful - the 'big T'. What is the big T? Well, its 'traffic'; if your blog site doesn't have enough traffic, you will not earn any money.

Let's share some great ways to make money from your blog. PayPerPost and ReviewMe are two good ways to start making money. These programs do not depend on click through rates, traffic or other factors to use them. This is an excellent option for bloggers with a hectic schedule. If you wish, you may write a review for a fee which is an excellent method to make money from blogging.

Imagine getting cash into your pocket by writing favorable reviews about other people's products! Do take care of these important points before you start. One mistake is to post only when you have a review to make. A lot of sponsored posts often lead traffic away, make your website less attractive, and reduce your reliability; make sure that you accept only the reviews related to the blogs that you're making.

There are more options available to you if the benefits depend on the reader's responses and purchases. If you use affiliate links, they are perfect examples of this principle in action. With this option, you should have the ability to incorporate the existing contents of your blogs with the offers that let you earn money. If you blog on credit repair, then use anchor links to link to products that are relevant. Make yourself ready to be dazzled by the result. Try searching programs from these sources - NeverBlueAds, AzoogleAds, Share-a-Sale, and Commission Junction; visit them and find something that is suitable for you.

If you want a less invasive option, this is what's for you - try introducing content-based marketing on the pages of your website. All the advertisements will be created based on the contents of the page.

You can join into the league of successful people making a regular income through this system. Each time someone visits your blogs, you can earn something; you can turn those ads into money making opportunities. Placing those ads will give your visitors extra information.

So release your fears and jump aboard; find a few money making methods that you find interesting and select the ones that best suit your interests. It takes certain traits to e a successful blogger. Your talent can be turned into a money making opportunity online. Start blogging today and make some good money from your effort.

How Does a Blog Make Money Online?

By Kevin T Hope

There are two main business models that online entrepreneurs use to make money with blogs. The first and most common way to develop revenue from a blog is to advertise products and brands that are related to the subject of the blog.

The second kind of money making blog helps a single brand develop a web presence by presenting a positive view of the brand to the blogs readers. Both kinds of blogs can make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a good marketing strategy.

If you are blogging with the idea of selling advertising in your niche, there are a few ways you can look for prospective advertisers; you can let someone else do all of the legwork, or you can do the work yourself. Google AdSense is a popular example of the first method. There are a lot of advantages to the AdSense program, as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger to begin making a profit. However, most people discover that this brings in less money than they had hoped that their blog would earn.

Selling advertising directly to companies who want to put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog can take quite a bit of effort, but it can be pretty lucrative. If you are well connected in your niche, this may be worth trying. It's easier if you have a background in sales.

The biggest problem with this model is that you generally won't attract paying advertisers until you develop a big reader base, which can mean that you have to do several months of work before you start to make money blogging. As blogging becomes more lucrative, a lot of established companies are looking for ways to how develop an online presence. A lot of times, a company will hire an experienced blogger to blog specifically about the companies brand, products, and culture.

Some Blogging Tips to Generate Traffic to Your Sites

By Chris Braccus

One of the emerging, most recent "trends", if one may loosely refer to it as such, among computer and internet literates (which are also called as Netizens or citizens of the World Wide Web) is blogging or making online journals or diaries of sorts. A blog is like an online newspaper or byline or column where a person writes things ranging from various topics like religion, politics, history, business, fashion, sports, etc. and even personal stuffs. A person can also posts pictures in a blog and those people who blog are called bloggers.

It is apparent that every blogger aims that his/her blog site would be regularly visited by as many people as possible and it also follows that every bloggers desires that his/her entries be read by fellow bloggers or by other web surfers (people who are currently accessing the internet/Web).

Creating traffic on one's blog site could be a difficult feat since there are hundreds upon hundreds of existing blogs out there waiting to be discovered and are crying for attention. If you are one of those serious bloggers whose chief objective is to be read by as many people as possible on a regular basis, then try to consider the following blogging tips stated below so your blog site can generate the ideal traffic that you so yearn for:

• Read, read and read.Simply put, keep yourself informed. Read newspapers, magazines, online forums and of course, blogs. By doing so, you can derive ideas for your next topic. You could also easily relate to fellow bloggers or to visitors when they mention something about a certain person or celebrity or current events. Of course you need not know everything but it pays to be knowledgeable on a broad range of topics and to be up to date about the matters taking place around you.

• Welcome new readers/visitors and attend to them immediately. If there are new readers or new persons who posted comments in your entries, try to respond to their comments as soon as you can so that it could pave way for an interaction which will in turn, encourage the readers to revisit your site. Also, you may just simply thank them for taking time to visit your site. This is good P.R. for your site. Take that opportunity also to orient them a bit about your blog or about your other entries. Who knows? They might spread the word about your blog and on how accommodating and friendly you are.

If the reader happens to be keeping a blog also then visit his/her site and try to leave a message or a comment. It's like a give-and-take relationship.

• Post appropriate pictures.

If there's an available picture that could well correspond to an entry that you wrote, then post it since pictures could attract more readers and could give additional credibility or catchiness to your writing. Well, a captivating picture with a brief caption could actually already serve as an entry and could very well fish for commentaries.

• Participate in online forums or polls.

Make yourself known to others by engaging in those numerous online forums (you may choose what subjects or topics are you interested in). By doing so, the username you use actually serves as a link to your own blog site. If there would be readers who liked your comments or appreciate your views, it's highly probable that they will immediately click the link to your site and check for themselves who the "mysterious" participant is. You can also make friends through forums and the relationship that could be created could lead to visiting each other's respective sites.

• Keep your blog site simple but not boring, unique but not too visually empowering.

What's the use of a visually and even audibly impressive blog site it will take some precious time to download the whole page? Not all bloggers have their own PCs. Some just rent and for them time means money. Also, no matter how deep and inspiring and richly informative your entries are but if you use mismatched color schemes or fonts that are difficult to read then chances are, your prospective readers will leave your site and go to other blog sites that are visually-friendlier than yours.

Keep in mind the above mentioned tips and you can assure yourself that people, after reading your entries, will appreciate your blog and will be coming back for more.

Chris Braccus's experience in writing great articles prompted him to start an article directory both as a ground for potential writers to showcase their work as well as to teach new writers the art of writing for masses. Another article on blogging tips click here

Blogging Advice You Need to Heed

By Andy Pang

When I decided to start a blog sometime back, I did not really think that it would be much of a big deal at all. I knew a lot of casual bloggers out there, and none of them seemed to put much thought and quality into it. They certainly did not get proper blogging advice anywhere - obvious from their sites. These bloggers just wrote down what they wanted to, whether it was relationship blogs, marketing and advertising reports, or just personal information about their daily lives. All of them, however, seemed to take a pretty laid-back approach to putting their columns and contents together.

In retrospect, I wish that I had received some good blogging advice before I started off on this online journey. Starting a blog is definitely not as easy as I had thought initially. First of all, you have to deal with site layout issues. One of the hard facts about Internet blogging is that people are not going to read your blog unless you make the site looks interesting enough. A webpage that looks completely dull with a bad layout is heading for disaster. Don't get me wrong - there are some blogs with very simple layouts and still get quite a few loyal readers. But even with these weblogs, the people who made them took some time to think about the design and layout of their site.

Another area I could have used blogging advice on was in getting quality page hits. My personal blog was also part of my virtual business. I was sort of combining multiple features into the site. On one hand, I wanted a blog that I could use as a partly public journal. I could use it to inform my circle of friends about what I was up to in my life. On the other hand, I also wanted to be able to inform people of developments in my business as well. I run a business out of my home, and there is a lot of overlap between my professional and personal life, naturally. Good blogging advice would have helped me to create webpages that were both informative for my clients and interesting for my friends, and preferably one that would attract a good number of quality hits from Google searches.

Even without looking at a blogging guide book, I did manage to figure it out somewhat eventually. It was a slow process, and I think I wasted some time that would have been better spent on something else, like generating business. Nonetheless, live and learn as many say. Next time, I will certainly start with expert advice!

Powerful Tips on Writing Blog Articles - Part 4-4

By Alvin Phang

This article is a continuous of the previous three articles, part 1 , part 2 & part 3. We are almost done in explaining everything you need to know about blogging but there is more to you need to know.

Frequency Of Posting

Blogging on a blog can be a real tiring thing to do on a daily basis especially so when people are more demanding now in today"s world. They expect more out from your blog and in order to satisfy them you need to try to post a new article to your blog every day!

Yes my friend it may sound crazy but if you fail to do that, the more you delay, the chances your readers not coming back to your blog would also be higher. That is what I realized whenever I go for my holiday trips and forgot to post on my blog.

The bare minimum is there should be a post every 2 to 3 days within the week, making it 3 posts a week. However, you do not want to post all three at one go but you want to give it some delay to keep people interested. Like what I have just done by breaking this long article into a 4 part series.

Your main motive in frequency updating your blog is that you have to give your readers a sense that your blog is been actively maintained and there are always fresh new content to read. This will also keep search engine spiders coming back regularly which mean better rankings for you.

Handling Comments

It is a real common problem that you will receive tons of spam comments when you start blogging on your blog. Do not panic as it"s normal to receive them, in fact the more you receive means you are doing something right as you are getting more attention on the internet.

All blog platforms have different ways to filter away comments but always try to have a spam filter installed into your blog site if possible to safe you all the trouble of filtering them yourself. If you have disabled comments on your blog, I would highly recommend you to enable it as it"s the best way to interact with your readers.

When you enable comments, do remember to enable the moderating mode so that you do not simply allow spam message to hit onto your blog site. Do note when you approve comments, try to avoid allowing your readers to insert hyperlinks in the messages, that would affect your rankings.

That's it for part 4 of "Powerful Tips On Writing Blog Articles", I hope you have got something out of the 4 series of article I have written on writing on blog. In the next series of articles I will be talking about search engine optimization so do remember to clicking here to subscribe to my blog to get further updates.

Powerful Tips on Writing Blog Articles - Part 3-4

By Alvin Phang

This article is a continuous of the previous two articles for part 1 and part 2. Now that you know how to write on your blog it is time to go in depth into blogging.

How To Label Categories

The no.1 common mistake made by many bloggers is they always forget to categorized their post and most often people would categorized their post under uncategorized which is really wrong! It is always a good idea to break your blog up into different categories to create a nice filing system within your articles.

This will also allow your readers to find what you have posted on specific topics that you have written on your blog. More importantly, tagging your articles also helps in search engine rankings too. If you fail to tag your article with the right keywords, you are missing a great opportunity to get your articles ranked high in search engines.

Linking It Right On Your Blog

If you are currently running a blog and have no links on your blog, you are basically throwing all your chances of making money down the drain. It is really important to create links on your blog. Basically there are two types of links you can create on your articles. One of them is what we called an internal links and the other is the external links.

Tips On Internal Links

At most times, internal links are used to inform your readers of previous articles you have written but it can also be used to trick search engine into acknowledging the keyword is related to a post article.

Here's an example how you get let search engine know that an article is important to a keyword. E.g. This article on Make Money Online is a great article to read on. If you noticed I used the keyword "Make Money Online" as the keyword to link to the article.

What this will do is that it will inform search engine spiders that the keyword Make Money Online is related to that link and chances of being ranked higher on search would be higher if you do this type of internal linking.

However do caution, you are not allow to overdo it as search engine will know and it will just make things worse if you over do it.

Tips On External Links

For external links, I would always recommend everyone to insert affiliate links within the post to sell affiliate products.

However, you do not want to just put the website link to sell an affiliate product. A more sneaky way of linking to your affiliate product would be this way. E.g. For the past 12 months, I have been blogging really actively making more then $203,000 in sales just by applying this secret guide book I have been reading about.

You will noticed from the above example, I make link with a sense of curiousness into it to make you click the link. This works really well for me and you may also try it too on your blog

That's it for part 3 of "Powerful Tips On Writing Blog Articles", in the next article I will be talking more about freq of posts, moderating comments.

Four Reasons Why Every Life Coach, Author and Speaker Should Have a Blog

By Melody Campbell

If you are completely unfamiliar with what a "blog" is, here is the original definition;:

A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs are defined by their format: a series of entries posted to a single page in reverse-chronological order.Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the website that hosts the blog. Topics sometimes include brief philosophical musings, commentary on Internet and other social issues, and links to other sites the author favors, especially those that support a point being made on a post.

Brian Solis of PR 2.0 makes this revealing statement "...blogging is one of the great disruptors in media. It, at its very foundation, gives a voice to anyone with an opinion and an internet connection." Let this sink in for a minute. If you learn to engage in the conversation your marketplace is having, your blog has the potential to influence your marketplace as great as or better than traditional media.

  1. Blogging is a communication tool. Let me clarify, blogging is a two-way communication tool. Traditional media is about delivering information, blogging has become a virtual conversation that is not bound by time or space. As a coaching professional your blog gives you a platform to share your method, ideas and inspirations and invite feedback on each post in the comments.

  2. Blogging is a relationship building tool. One of the most important things you can add to your blog is an email capture. I usually recommend the space in th upper right hand corner of your blog. You can add a small piece of code into a text box on the side bar (check with your blog host or developer, or visit my site for more information.) In this space offer a special report of information that your visitors, your marketplace would find valuable enough to exchange their name and email address. The names and email addresses are stored in a database such as iContact, Constant Contact, or Aweber, where you will be able to send regular emails to everyone that signs up. The formula that I like to use for email follow up to these visitors that trust me with their information is 80% good information that is relevant to why they came to my blog in the first place and 20% self or other relevant promotion.

  3. Blogging is a promotion and networking tool. Each blog has a built in RSS feed. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. A simple line of code that you can copy from your blog and paste on to just about any social networking site will help you promote and network with your message virally across as many social networking platforms as you desire to participate in.

  4. Blogging is viral. Just like a cold or flu virus, your message has the potential to spread all over the Internet. There are ways to interact with other bloggers so that your posts, your information and expertise gets in front of a new audience. This point is the reason your blog posts must be interactive and invite conversation instead of pushing information to your marketplace.

Whether your blog is hosted free (just Google "free blog hosting"), or it is self-hosted (very inexpensive), either way you have at your disposal a powerful tool to connect, engage and make inviting offers to your prospects and clients.

If you are a coach, speaker, author or other business professional the time for waiting to see if blogging is a passing fad is over. Once you begin, you will discover that it has the potential to be one of your best business building tools.

Internet Marketing Blog - 3 More Essentials For a Successful Blog

By Gary Baker

Running a successful internet marketing blog can sometimes be a balancing act. You have to provide your viewers with steady fresh content while trying to attract even more viewers. Here are 3 more essentials for a successful internet marketing blog.

1.) FAQ

If you are selling products then your blog should have a Frequently Asked Questions page and it should be easily accessible from the main page. You should use the FAQ to outline questions that have been often asked about your product along with an answer.

2.) Freebie

Some people might call this a "loss leader" which is in essence a product that you are selling at a reduced price, or in this case given away freely. Use this product to grow your list. Offer the product in exchange for a visitor's first name and email address and you will see your list grow quickly. Make sure that it is relevant to the topic of your blog and has value to a potential customer. Once on your list you may begin email marketing to your new customer. This is where the real money is in internet marketing.

3.) "About Us" page

Let your customers know a little about your self or your company by including an "About Us" link. Give a bit of background on your company as well as your email address, physical address, and business phone number.

Every professional website or internet marketing blog will contain the 9 points that we have discussed in this article. If you are confused about how to implement some of these points you can discover quite a bit simply by visiting the site of successful companies. Use the points that we have discussed to make your blog the absolute best that it can be. Present a professional appearance and attract customers.

It is my sincere hope that the "Essential components for a successful bog" articles will help your and your blog reach the potential that both of you are capable of. Remember do not be afraid to dream big. For more of my insight and advice feel free to join my newsletter.

Write Reviews of Existing Products

You can write reviews of existing products and then join the affiliate programs of each product. You'll make a percentage on the sale of each product. Go to ClickBank, PayLoadz and Amazon and find a combination of digital and actual "real life" products to sell on your blog. Write honest reviews of the products. Don't make it overly obvious that you're trying to sell people on the products.
