5 Top Blogging Tips

By Christie Love

Do you have a blog? Maybe you have many blogs that require you to constantly post articles in order to get interested visitors to your site. Finding new topics everyday to post can become tiresome, but remember you must continue to add value to your blog for your readers by adding fresh new content daily.

A blog is essentially a website that can be maintained by the owner of the blog. The blogger usually maintains the site with regular post entries, audio, video and more. New posts are added every day. The main purpose of a blog is to communicate with people regularly about a particular topic of interest. Topics can be about anything and can range from chickens blogs, to celebrity movie blogs, to salon blogs.

If you are stuck with finding new content to post on your blog, here are some tips that may help.

  1. Make your text posts less than 250 words. When writing for a blog, you don't need to make it as long as a full article. Actually less is better. You'll want to make sure your content is full of information so the reader is eager to return back to learn more.
  2. Make your title grab reader's attention. When blogging, use short but direct titles filled with action words such as, "7 Surefire Tips" or "Secret Reviews."
  3. Include bullet points such as I am doing here. Bullet points on tips or lists are well liked in the blogging world. Simply do quick research find a list of 3-10 tips and add them to your blog. That's all.
  4. Fill your posts with keywords. Remember, your blog is basically a website and as a website, if you aren't able to pay for Pay Per Click advertisements, then the best way to get your blog recognized on search engines is to use high ranking keywords in your posts.
  5. Be consistent with your writing style. When frequenting your blog, visitors want to learn more about you and the knowledge you have to give. Therefore, if you are flipping your writing style in a way that sounds like someone else, visitors won't be able to connect with you, so choose a writing style and stay with it.

Being truly happy in any relationship begins with you. It would take much more room than we have here to fully explain them all.
